- ØTTA Announces Debut Album ‘PELE DE MAR’ And Shares New Single ‘PULSO.’
ØTTA Portugal-born DJ, producer and multidisciplinary artist ØTTA has announced her long-awaited debut album ‘PELE DE MAR’, set for release later this year via her own label and global party brand, HOTTIES. Arriving alongside the announcement is new single ‘PULSO.’, one of the album’s most uplifting moments and a track that encapsulates the diverse influences shaping ØTTA’s musical identity. Combining sensual house grooves, Latin rhythms and the bass-heavy sounds she embraced while living in London, ‘PULSO.’ offers an energetic introduction to the wider project. Described as a deeply personal body of work, ‘PELE DE MAR’ traces ØTTA’s journey across the places, cultures and experiences that have shaped her over the last decade. Beginning in Lisbon and extending through London and South America, the eight-track album explores themes of identity, memory and self-discovery through a collection of club-focused productions. The title translates loosely as “skin of the sea”, reflecting the artist’s connection to the ocean and the role travel has played throughout her life and career. Across the album, listeners can expect everything from the Rio de Janeiro-inspired ‘RIO’ and the Paris-influenced ‘THAT SNACK’ to collaborations with Bibi Babydoll, Lua De Santana and FIAH. Before emerging as one of electronic music’s most distinctive rising talents through her breakout ‘Plus One’ EP and widely celebrated Boiler Room appearance, ØTTA spent years immersed in music, art and architecture. Those influences continue to inform both her productions and the wider creative vision behind HOTTIES, the community-focused label and event platform she founded. More than a debut album, ‘PELE DE MAR’ serves as a reflection on the people, places and experiences that have shaped ØTTA’s life, documenting a journey that spans continents while remaining firmly rooted in dance music culture. - Sunnyside (US) Brings Deep House Muscle To Techords With ‘Move To The Rhythm’
Sunnyside (US) Sunnyside (US) returns with new single ‘Move To The Rhythm’, landing via Techords on 25th June and showcasing the producer’s knack for crafting modern deep house built squarely for the dancefloor. The track sits at the deeper end of the contemporary house spectrum while maintaining a strong sense of momentum throughout. Rich FM basslines provide the foundation, locking into a swinging groove that immediately pulls the listener into its orbit. Above that, gritty synth textures and velvety pads create a warm but driving atmosphere, balancing weight and emotion in equal measure. What makes ‘Move To The Rhythm’ particularly effective is its sense of restraint. Rather than relying on oversized drops or obvious peak-time moments, Sunnyside (US) focuses on groove, movement and gradual progression. Every element feels purposeful, from the rolling percussion to the subtle melodic flourishes that emerge throughout the arrangement. The result is a record that feels equally suited to packed club floors and late-night listening sessions. There is enough low-end pressure to command attention on a large sound system, while the deeper harmonic elements provide the kind of replay value that extends beyond the dancefloor. The release forms part of the forthcoming ‘Move To The Rhythm EP’, arriving on Techords alongside companion track ‘OG Record’. Early previews have already generated attention across the underground circuit, highlighting Sunnyside (US) as another emerging name worth keeping an eye on within the modern house landscape. With ‘Move To The Rhythm’, Sunnyside (US) delivers a confident statement of intent. Deep, groove-led and packed with character, it is the kind of record that understands exactly what it wants to do and executes it with style. - BLONDEX Explores Trance, Techno and Altered States on Debut EXHALE EP ‘Twisted Reality’
BLONDEX Spanish DJ and producer BLONDEX has never approached electronic music as a purely functional exercise. While her productions deliver the power, scale and impact expected of modern peak-time techno, there has always been something more cinematic sitting beneath the surface. Emotion, storytelling and world-building remain central to her identity, and nowhere is that more apparent than on her debut EXHALE EP, Twisted Reality. Arriving via EXHALE, the four-track release sees BLONDEX draw together the trance influences that first made her fall in love with electronic music and the heavier techno energy that has shaped her rise in recent years. The result is a project that feels both deeply personal and designed for the dancefloor. Music has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Long before production entered the picture, she was already determined to become a DJ. "What first drew me to electronic music was the pure, instant happiness it gave me," she says. "Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always the same: a DJ." After spending years behind the decks, production became the natural next step. More than simply creating music to play in her sets, it allowed her to develop a voice that was entirely her own. "Creating your own music gives you the opportunity to tell your own story," she explains. "Standing in a booth and playing a record that came directly out of your own head and heart makes the connection with the dancefloor so much more intimate and real." That storytelling instinct sits at the heart of Twisted Reality. Rather than approaching the EP as a collection of club tracks, BLONDEX envisioned it as a journey through shifting emotional and mental states. "I've always been a very spiritual and mystical person," she says. "The concept behind Twisted Reality came from wanting to translate that sensitivity into the language of electronic music." The project explores the blurred space between dreams, reality and altered perception. Each track represents a different stage within that journey, moving between moments of release, introspection and intensity. Musically, the EP also showcases the sound BLONDEX has spent years refining. While techno dominates much of her current output, trance remains a constant influence. "Trance has without a doubt been the genre that has influenced me the most throughout my life," she says. "I discovered techno later and was immediately captivated by its darker and more hypnotic side." Rather than choosing between the two worlds, she eventually embraced both. "Today, my sound is about building a bridge between those universes, bringing together the emotional energy of trance with the driving intensity of peak-time techno." That fusion has become increasingly recognisable across her productions, helping her establish a distinctive identity within a scene that often favours clearly defined lanes. Visual thinking also plays a significant role in her creative process. Tracks rarely begin as technical exercises. Instead, they start with emotions, images and imagined environments. "When I'm in front of Ableton, I'm usually trying to capture a feeling rather than follow a technical plan," she says. "Sounds aren't just frequencies to me. They have textures, colours and landscapes." That mindset perhaps explains why tracks such as '2 Shadows As 1' feel particularly immersive. The record also sees BLONDEX incorporate her own vocals, adding another layer of vulnerability to the project. "Using my own voice felt like the most honest and organic way to communicate the emotion behind the track," she explains. "Club energy will always be at the core of what I do, but I also want my music to connect with people on a much deeper level." The EP also marks an important milestone in her relationship with EXHALE and Amelie Lens, whose support has helped provide a platform for artists operating between traditional genre boundaries. Throughout her career, BLONDEX has often felt caught between different corners of electronic music. "Sometimes my music is considered too melodic for the underground scene, while at the same time being too heavy for the more commercial side," she says. Finding a label that understood that balance proved invaluable. "What I appreciate most about EXHALE is being surrounded by a team that genuinely believes in my vision and encourages me to keep developing my identity without compromise." That confidence arrives at a time when her profile continues to grow rapidly. Appearances at major events including Awakenings and fabric have already established her as one of the more exciting names emerging from Europe's modern techno movement, while a debut appearance at Tomorrowland awaits this summer. Despite the increasing scale of those opportunities, her approach remains unchanged. "I still feel like the exact same girl with big dreams," she says. "My motivation remains exactly the same: to build a genuine connection with the dancefloor and tell my story through the music." Away from touring, she remains conscious of maintaining balance. Time with family, cooking, her vegetarian lifestyle and life with her dog Neula provide an important counterweight to the demands of the industry. "The music industry gives you incredible moments of euphoria, but the non-stop travel and pressure can easily sweep you away if you're not careful," she says. "Those small moments of normal life are what keep me grounded." For BLONDEX, Twisted Reality represents more than just a debut EP on a dream label. It feels like a statement of intent. "I wanted to reveal a much deeper side of who I am, both musically and personally," she says. "This EP is an important milestone, but it's definitely not the final destination. It's the beginning of a whole new chapter." With its blend of trance euphoria, techno intensity and deeply personal storytelling, Twisted Reality suggests that chapter is only just getting started. After spending an extended period focused on studio work and sound development, the Brazilian artist is now beginning to reveal the results through a run of releases that showcase different sides of her evolving sound. Leading the charge is ‘Feel The Acid’, arriving via Pyro Records on 19th June. Built around a driving acid foundation, hard bounce influences and an intense vocal performance, the track demonstrates Joanna’s continued willingness to push beyond the neorave and hard techno styles that first established her reputation. The momentum continues with ‘You Can’t Fake This’, a collaboration with Alex TB released through Rave To The Grave. Packed with peak-time schranz energy, the track delivers a clear message centred around authenticity and dedication to the underground scene. At just 19 years old, Dean has quickly established himself as one of the UK's most promising emerging talents, building momentum through a string of club-focused productions that have earned support from DJs, radio stations and dance music audiences alike. ‘GANGSTA’ showcases the sound that has helped fuel that rise. - Solardo Revisit Landmark Hit ‘Tribesmen’ With New ‘10 Years On’ Remix
Solardo Solardo have returned to Hot Creations with a new ‘10 Years On’ remix of ‘Tribesmen’, revisiting the record that helped launch their rise through the global house music scene. Originally released in 2016, ‘Tribesmen’ became a defining moment for the Manchester duo, delivering their first-ever Beatport No.1 and establishing them as one of the leading names in a new wave of tech house artists. A decade later, the track remains one of the most recognisable releases in their catalogue, recently surpassing 7.5 million streams. Rather than completely reinventing the original, the new remix updates the record with the benefit of ten years spent refining their sound across clubs, festivals and international tours. The track’s iconic vocal remains firmly in place, while heavier drums, punchier grooves and acid-infused synth touches bring the production in line with Solardo’s current sound. “Tribesmen became our first release on the label a decade ago, and it went on to become our first Beatport No.1, opening the door for us to tour the world and build the incredible career we’ve had ever since,” the duo explained. The release also marks a return to the label that played a pivotal role in their early development. Founded by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, Hot Creations has long been one of the most influential labels in modern house music and remains closely connected to Solardo’s story. Since the original release, the duo have gone on to establish their own successful imprint, Sola Records, while becoming regular fixtures on major festival line-ups and club stages worldwide. Ten years after first changing the course of their career, ‘Tribesmen (10 Years On Remix)’ feels less like a nostalgic exercise and more like a celebration of how far both the artists and the record have travelled. - Green Velvet And Detlef Unite On Hellbent Records Debut ‘Bounce UR Body’
Green Velvet And Detlef House music heavyweight Green Velvet joins forces with Detlef on ‘Bounce UR Body’, a powerful new collaboration marking both artists' debut release on Cloonee’s Hellbent Records. As Hellbent continues to establish itself as one of the most influential labels in contemporary house music, few signings carry the weight of a collaboration between two artists with such proven dancefloor credentials. Bringing together one of Chicago house music’s most iconic figures and one of modern house music’s most consistent club producers, ‘Bounce UR Body’ arrives with plenty of expectation attached. The track wastes little time getting to work. Driving drums, commanding vocals and a tightly wound groove form the backbone of the production, with both artists leaning into the direct, no-nonsense approach that has defined their careers. Built for peak-time impact, the record delivers the kind of immediate dancefloor energy that has become a hallmark of Hellbent’s catalogue. For Green Velvet, the release adds another chapter to a career that has helped shape house music across multiple generations. From underground clubs to major festival stages, his influence continues to be felt throughout the global electronic music scene decades after emerging from Chicago's rich house music heritage. Alongside him, Detlef brings a catalogue of club-focused releases that have earned widespread support from DJs worldwide. Known for his instinctive understanding of groove and dancefloor dynamics, he remains one of the most respected names in contemporary house music. With both artists combining their strengths, ‘Bounce UR Body’ feels like a natural fit for Hellbent Records. Tough, energetic and built with maximum dancefloor functionality in mind, it showcases exactly why Green Velvet and Detlef remain such enduring forces within the genre. Already making an impact across clubs and festival stages, ‘Bounce UR Body’ stands as one of Hellbent’s most notable releases of the year so far. - Joshwa Returns To Hellbent Records With New Club Weapon ‘Lets Get Ill’
Joshwa Joshwa has returned to Hellbent Records with his latest single, ‘Lets Get Ill’, as the follow-up to his Beatport chart-topping hit ‘Out Of My Mind’. Few releases have made a bigger impact on Hellbent’s 2026 catalogue than ‘Out Of My Mind’, which shot to No.1 on Beatport’s overall chart following its February release and quickly became one of the year’s most-played club records. Now the UK producer is back on Hellbent Records with another track built squarely for peak-time dancefloors. ‘Lets Get Ill’ wastes little time establishing its intent. Built around a commanding vocal sample, driving low-end pressure and a groove designed to stay locked from start to finish, the track delivers the kind of direct, high-energy house sound that has become synonymous with Joshwa’s productions. Since relocating from London to New York, Joshwa has continued to cement his position as one of the UK's most recognisable house music exports. His ability to create records that connect instantly while maintaining underground club credibility has earned widespread support from DJs across the global circuit. That balance remains at the heart of ‘Lets Get Ill’. Rather than attempting to replicate the success of its predecessor, the release doubles down on the qualities that have defined Joshwa’s recent rise: immediacy, personality and a clear understanding of what works in front of a packed dancefloor. With another powerful release now added to his catalogue, ‘Lets Get Ill’ looks set to continue Joshwa’s strong run of form while reinforcing his growing relationship with one of house music’s most influential contemporary labels. - Ben Kim and A.D.O.R. Reignite a Club Classic on ‘Reload The Renegade Master’
Ben Kim Reworking a vocal as recognisable as A.D.O.R.’s legendary ‘One For The Trouble’ is never without risk, but ‘Reload The Renegade Master’ understands exactly why the original has remained embedded in club culture for decades. Rather than treating the sample as a nostalgic shortcut, Ben Kim builds an entire record around its energy, delivering a contemporary Tech House cut that feels designed for large dancefloors and peak-time moments. The production is direct and unapologetically functional. A rolling low end drives the track forward from the outset, supported by punchy drums and a groove that prioritises movement over complexity. Every element serves a purpose, creating a sense of momentum that rarely lets up across the arrangement. It is the kind of record that immediately communicates its intentions, locking into a rhythm and committing to it with confidence. The vocal remains the undeniable centrepiece. Its familiar call-and-response energy still carries the same impact today, but the updated production surrounding it gives the record a fresh sense of urgency. Rather than overwhelming the sample with excessive effects or unnecessary embellishments, Ben Kim allows it to retain its character while framing it within a modern Tech House context. The result feels respectful of the original while remaining firmly focused on contemporary club audiences. What elevates the track beyond a simple remake is its understanding of timing and crowd response. Breakdowns arrive at the right moments, tension builds naturally, and the payoffs feel earned rather than forced. The arrangement leaves plenty of room for the vocal to shine, while the groove underneath provides the weight needed to carry it through a packed room. The track’s widespread support from names including Marco Carola, Danny Howard, Armin van Buuren and Claptone is easy to understand. ‘Reload The Renegade Master’ successfully bridges generations of dance music culture, combining a timeless vocal with modern production values to create a record that feels equally at home in Ibiza, on festival stages and in underground club settings. - ELFIGO x HVRR x AYAREZ Blend Atmosphere and Groove on ‘Dreaming & Breathing’
ELFIGO, HVRR, AYAREZ ‘Dreaming & Breathing’ finds ELFIGO, HVRR and AYAREZ exploring the space between Future Dance influences and Bass House, resulting in a track that feels equally focused on movement and atmosphere. Rather than chasing maximum impact from the outset, the trio opt for a more measured approach, allowing the arrangement to unfold gradually as new textures and melodic ideas emerge. The groove sits at the centre of the production. A solid kick drum and crisp percussion provide a dependable foundation, while subtle rhythmic changes prevent the track from becoming overly repetitive. The drum programming is clean and effective, maintaining energy throughout without relying on excessive layering or unnecessary complexity. This gives the record a sense of confidence, allowing its strongest ideas to develop naturally. Where the track stands out most is in its melodic and atmospheric design. Warm synth textures drift through the arrangement, creating contrast against the punchier low-end elements. These melodic components are introduced with restraint, gradually expanding the emotional character of the track without distracting from its dancefloor purpose. The balance between groove and melody feels carefully judged, helping the production maintain momentum while adding depth and personality. The use of space is another notable strength. Reverb, delays and transitional effects are employed thoughtfully, creating an open and immersive soundstage that supports the track's title and mood. There is a consistent sense of flow from beginning to end, with tension and release handled through subtle arrangement decisions rather than dramatic breakdowns or oversized drops. ‘Dreaming & Breathing’ succeeds as a refined club record that values mood as much as functionality, offering a well-balanced listening experience that translates effectively from headphones to the dancefloor.
