Number 90 has revealed a major summer refresh, introducing venue upgrades, a new food offering led by acclaimed chef James Cochran, World Cup screenings and a packed programme of music and cultural events.

Located in the heart of Hackney Wick, Number 90 has become one of East London’s most established nightlife destinations, combining canalside drinking, club culture, live music and community-focused events across its three spaces: Number 90 Bar, Number 90 Hideout and Number 90 Lock.

The latest developments include a revamped Number 90 Bar featuring a centralised DJ booth and upgraded sound system designed to enhance both daytime and evening experiences.

Leading the kitchen is chef James Cochran, winner of The Great British Menu and founder of Around The Cluck. His new menu brings together signature fried chicken, burgers and the venue's highly anticipated Bang Bang Salad, alongside an extensive Sunday roast offering featuring dishes such as 45-day aged sirloin and Jerk Chicken Scotch Eggs.

The venue has also partnered with Salseo, which will curate a natural wine programme designed to complement Cochran’s menu.

Football fans are also set to benefit, with Number 90 confirming that all England World Cup matches will be shown live on giant screens throughout the tournament. Bookings are now open, although the venue expects high demand across the competition.

Music remains central to Number 90’s identity, with a busy summer schedule already announced. Highlights include the inaugural Sound & Silence Festival on 12th July, an alcohol-free community-focused event centred around connection and shared musical experiences.

Elsewhere, Hospital Records will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a dedicated block party on 1st August, while iconic independent label BBE Music marks three decades with a special anniversary showcase on 20th August featuring Al Kent, John Morales, Mr Thing and more.

With enhanced facilities, a new culinary direction and a packed events calendar, Number 90 is positioning itself as one of London's most versatile summer destinations.
