From 5pm–1am, over two rooms and with 1,000 party people, the iconic house brand kicks off its huge autumn series with a heavyweight lineup designed to bring unmissable energy to the city. Headlining the main room at Hangr Warehouse this autumn is one of electronic music’s most influential figures, Mousse T. From era-defining chart hits and a formidable reputation performing on major stages from Tomorrowland and Creamfields to his acclaimed Glitterbox residency at Hï Ibiza, Mousse T. is primed to bring the energy to Love to be. Joining him is underground favourite Groove P, whose rise has been nothing short of explosive. Support comes from Love to be residents James Worrell, Watty, Cheryl Wright, Sinclair and Andy Wadlow. Room two at Hangr becomes “The Music Factory” in honour of the Sheffield club on London Road where it all began for Love to be in 1994. Featuring house music classics from open until close, who better than key Hacienda DJ Tom Wainwright to headline, representing the golden age of club culture. Expect even more classics from local talent Melly D and Love to be regulars Stuart Pilling, Booty, Shaun Hayes, Rudi and Amy S, who know exactly how to rock the Love to be dancefloor. • JAN On Finding Creative Freedom, London's UK Garage Scene And Why 'Feel It Now' Changed Everything

JAN For someone who's only 19 years old, JAN has packed an extraordinary amount into a relatively short space of time. From performances at Ministry of Sound, Amnesia Ibiza and Primavera Sound to launching his own label and surpassing one million streams, the Spanish producer has quickly established himself as one of the more exciting young names emerging from Europe's house scene. Yet despite those milestones, his latest single 'Feel It Now' represents something far more personal than another release. The record arrived after a period where JAN found himself questioning his own creativity. Rather than writing music that genuinely reflected who he was, he realised he had started creating with other people's expectations in mind. Breaking out of that mindset became the catalyst for the track and, ultimately, a new chapter in his artistic identity. "Feel It Now came from a period of creative block when I didn't feel like I was making music for myself," he explains. "I wasn't fully happy with what I was doing." The solution wasn't instant inspiration but consistency. "The turning point was really just showing up to the studio every day, working consistently, expressing how I felt and letting go of that block. After all that trial and error, I started making music that felt right again. It took time, but through that process Feel It Now became one beautiful idea." While electronic music may define JAN today, his musical foundations stretch back much further. He began playing drums at four years old before taking up piano at ten, developing an understanding of rhythm and melody that still shapes every production. "I always work with a keyboard," he says. "That early musical training gave me a really strong grasp of rhythm and melody, and it's still at the core of how I make music." Living in London over the past four years also proved transformative. Immersing himself in the city's electronic scene introduced him to UK garage and rave culture, influences that became central to Feel It Now. Rather than recreating those sounds, JAN wanted to reinterpret them through his own perspective. "I became obsessed with the energetic, swaying drums of UK garage," he says. "I wanted to create something driven by those drums and heavy bass, but still melodic." That balance between respecting dance music's history while developing something personal has become central to his creative philosophy. "I love those classic influences, but I never want to copy them. I experiment with them until they feel authentic to my own sound." That same openness shaped the collaboration with fellow ICMP student Paris. After meeting through university, the pair immediately connected in the studio, combining their shared instrumental backgrounds to build what would become one of JAN's most personal releases. "We really clicked during our first session," he says. "He contributed a lot to the production, but it was really his vocals that took the track to a whole new level." Outside the studio, JAN has also taken control of his own journey through The Penthouse Records. Rather than simply creating a home for his own music, he hopes the label eventually becomes a platform where other young producers feel encouraged to trust their own instincts too. "I see it as somewhere artists can find their own sound, grow and know they'll have support." That outlook mirrors how JAN now measures success. Despite already surpassing one million streams, numbers are no longer what motivates him. "Hitting a million streams is amazing, but success isn't about the numbers," he says. "Music is the greatest way for me to express myself. I just hope people feel something when they listen." As his touring schedule continues expanding across Spain, the UK and beyond, he has also discovered that creativity doesn't only happen inside the studio. Some of his favourite ideas have been finished while travelling, whether on trains, in cars or sitting outside between shows. "Being in different places really influences my creativity," he explains. "The world around me naturally shapes the decisions I make while producing." Despite how quickly everything has happened, JAN speaks less about chasing milestones than continuing to evolve. His ambitions remain rooted in collaboration, experimentation and making music that genuinely connects with people rather than simply following trends. "I hope I'm still making music that makes people feel something," he says. "I want to keep travelling, collaborating and expressing myself, always putting the music first." For an artist still in the earliest stages of his career, Feel It Now feels like an important turning point. Not because it's his biggest release to date, but because it represents the moment JAN stopped trying to become the artist he thought people wanted and started becoming the artist he genuinely is. • Self Tape Finds Beauty In Patience On ‘Waiting For You’

Self Tape There is something quietly affecting about electronic music that resists the urge to make everything bigger. On ‘Waiting For You’, Sydney producer Self Tape explores that restraint, using the familiar warmth of house music to frame a more personal reflection on love, patience and connection. The third single from his second album, ‘VIBRATIONS’, follows ‘Feelings In The Way’ and ‘London Baby’, shifting the focus from memory and place towards the emotional uncertainty of waiting for someone. At the centre of the production is a repeating house piano motif, providing a steady foundation for layered vocal fragments built around the track’s central refrain. Rather than presenting love as an uncomplicated experience, the songwriting considers the patience and perseverance involved in sustaining a meaningful connection. It is an approach that fits naturally within Self Tape’s broader musical direction. Drawing on textured electronica, downtempo house and future garage, his work favours subtle changes in arrangement and atmosphere over the immediate gratification of conventional dancefloor structures. That philosophy also informs ‘VIBRATIONS’, a twelve-track album developed during late-night and weekend sessions at his Inner West studio. Surrounded by instruments, old recordings and unfinished ideas, Self Tape has shaped a project concerned with movement, memory and the emotional spaces between destinations. ‘Waiting For You’ provides an accessible entry point into that world. Its combination of piano-led rhythm and fragmented vocals suggests a producer interested in the emotional possibilities of repetition, allowing a simple musical idea to carry the weight of a more complicated sentiment. The result is a thoughtful expression of connection through electronic music, one that finds its identity not in dramatic gestures but in the quieter feelings that linger beneath them. • Aaron Suiss And Enzo Vood Earn Major Support On ‘Self-Actualization’ via Magnetic Magazine Recordings

Aaron Suiss Aaron Suiss and Enzo Vood have landed on Magnetic Magazine Recordings with ‘Self-Actualization’, earning early support from Hernan Cattaneo and Paul van Dyk. Released as the 65th entry in the label’s catalogue, the collaboration finds both producers exploring a patient strain of progressive house. Its 123 BPM foundation supports gradually developing synth lines, melodic movement and a steady groove designed to slot naturally into extended club sets. The record reached influential selectors before its official arrival. Progressive house figurehead Hernan Cattaneo offered his support, while Paul van Dyk introduced the track to his global audience through VONYC Sessions episode 1028. For Suiss, ‘Self-Actualization’ marks a return to Magnetic Magazine Recordings following the release of ‘Relayered’ in March. His recent output also includes ‘Legend’, which climbed to number two on the Progressive House chart, and a remix of DJ SAN’s ‘Forest Skyline’. The producer also holds an industry role as A&R and Label Manager at Outta Limits Recordings, the label founded by Stan Kolev and Matan Caspi. His understanding of how progressive records function inside a DJ set feeds into a production that builds with purpose and avoids forcing its main moments. ‘Self-Actualization’ by Aaron Suiss and Enzo Vood is out now on Magnetic Magazine Recordings. • DerteeDisco And Morggan Explore Four Shades Of Club Music On ‘Maybe?’ EP

DerteeDisco and Morggan bring their contrasting musical influences together on ‘Maybe?’, a four-track release through Androids Dungeon Radio that moves between nostalgic UK garage, contemporary bass music and late-night house, with remixes from Rico Tubbs, No Drout and Arina Kondreva. The original collaboration draws on the producers’ different musical backgrounds. Denver-based DerteeDisco has developed a sound rooted in UK garage, bassline and the electronic influences of the 1980s and 1990s, earning support from Kevin Saunderson and Fleur Shore. Morggan, the project of North Carolina producer Morgan Thompson, brings a more melodic perspective shaped by his piano background and influences ranging from Deadmau5 to Fred again.. Their shared production balances emotive vocal fragments and atmospheric synthesizers with broken beats and fluid, bass-driven grooves. There is a nostalgic quality to the arrangement, but its rhythmic foundations keep the track firmly connected to contemporary club music, moving between introspective passages and more energetic moments without sacrificing either side of its identity. Rico Tubbs takes those foundations into unmistakable UK garage territory, building his remix around chunky beats and an infectious swinging rhythm. There is a playful energy to the production, with its pronounced groove and rhythmic bounce making it an immediately danceable interpretation that feels equally suited to underground club settings and more accessible dancefloors. No Drout’s ‘Rehydration Remix’ takes a different approach, pushing the release towards a more contemporary future dance and garage sound. Racy grooves and inventive underground sampling drive the arrangement, giving it a restless, energetic character that feels particularly in tune with current club music. It is a lively reinterpretation that prioritises movement and rhythmic creativity. Arina Kondreva delivers arguably the most contrasting version, moving away from the broken-beat foundations of the other tracks towards a rolling four-to-the-floor groove. Built around a deep, underground house and tech-influenced framework, her remix introduces a distinctly late-night atmosphere, with melodic elements and rhythmic sampling woven throughout. The result offers a different perspective on the original material, favouring a deeper, more hypnotic direction. What makes ‘Maybe?’ particularly effective as a package is the distinction between its four versions. Rather than simply adjusting the intensity of the original, each remix explores a different rhythmic identity, from the swinging foundations of UK garage to the driving energy of future dance and the rolling momentum of deep tech. For DerteeDisco and Morggan, the release demonstrates how their contrasting influences can provide the starting point for something broader. The original establishes an emotive, groove-led foundation, while the remixes extend its possibilities across several corners of contemporary underground dance music. • Hegstraction Explores Industrial Techno on NDSM - Amsterdam Industrial EP

Hegstraction Conceptual electronic records often walk a fine line between narrative ambition and dancefloor functionality, yet Hegstraction manages to strike an impressive balance on this five-track EP. Inspired by Amsterdam Noord's evolving industrial waterfront, the release doesn't simply soundtrack a series of locations; instead, it translates their atmosphere into a cohesive collection of immersive techno that rewards both uninterrupted listening and club play. The concept provides a framework, but it's the quality of the production that ultimately carries the record. Opening track Minervahaven immediately establishes the EP's sonic identity through restrained tension rather than outright force. Metallic percussion, submerged textures and carefully placed melodic fragments gradually emerge from a deep, rolling groove, creating an introduction that feels spacious yet purposeful. Rather than functioning as a standalone peak-time weapon, it invites listeners into the wider journey, demonstrating patience and confidence in its slow-building approach. That momentum gathers naturally on Danzigerkade, where tighter percussion and more pronounced rhythmic movement begin to take control. The groove feels increasingly hypnotic, driven by understated synth patterns that subtly evolve without disrupting the track's flow. Hegstraction shows a clear understanding of how repetition can become compelling through small shifts in texture, allowing the record to build energy without resorting to predictable breakdowns or oversized drops. The EP reaches an important turning point with Pontsteiger. A sustained bass tone immediately creates an underlying sense of tension before distorted percussion, fragmented textures and industrial sound design gradually take over. The production becomes darker and more mechanical here, but never loses sight of its rhythmic foundations. It is arguably the most cinematic moment on the release, successfully capturing a feeling of movement and transition without relying on obvious musical cues. By the arrival of NDSM-Werf, that carefully accumulated tension is released into the EP's most direct dancefloor statement. Punchier drums, aggressive metallic percussion and driving synth work inject fresh urgency into the record while maintaining the hypnotic groove established earlier. There is a satisfying physicality to the production, with every drum hit and distorted texture feeling deliberately placed. Rather than abandoning atmosphere for impact, Hegstraction allows both elements to coexist, making this one of the standout moments of the collection. Closing piece STRAAT brings everything together with confidence. Acid-inflected synth lines weave between relentless percussion and evolving melodic passages, while harsher industrial textures contrast against more delicate harmonic elements to produce the EP's most emotionally engaging track. The finale never feels excessive despite its intensity, instead offering a natural conclusion that reflects the progression established across the previous four tracks. Throughout the EP, Hegstraction demonstrates a keen understanding of pacing. Each composition feels connected to the next, creating a genuine sense of progression rather than presenting five unrelated techno productions. The sequencing allows ideas introduced early on to evolve organically, making uninterrupted listening particularly rewarding. At the same time, every track retains enough individuality to function independently within a DJ set. Production quality remains consistently high throughout. Crisp percussion, carefully balanced low-end and richly layered sound design create an immersive listening experience without sacrificing clarity or dancefloor impact. The industrial influences are unmistakable, yet they never become gimmicky or overly literal. Instead, they are woven naturally into the rhythmic framework, giving the EP a distinctive identity that extends beyond its conceptual inspiration. This is a thoughtful, well-executed release that succeeds because the music remains the priority. The Amsterdam narrative enriches the listening experience, but it is Hegstraction's disciplined production, hypnotic grooves and confident sequencing that leave the strongest impression. As both a conceptual work and a collection of effective techno, the EP stands as one of his most cohesive and accomplished releases to date.
