On home turf in Sheffield, Love to be… stages a massive day-into-night warehouse rave on Friday 17th October at Hangr Warehouse, the brand-new purpose-built event space at SteelYard in Kelham Island. From 5pm–1am, over two rooms and with 1,000 party people, the iconic house brand kicks off its huge autumn series with a heavyweight lineup designed to bring unmissable energy to the city.
Headlining the main room at Hangr Warehouse this autumn is one of electronic music’s most influential figures, Mousse T. With a career spanning more than three decades, the Grammy-nominated artist remains a defining force in global house culture. From era-defining chart hits and a formidable reputation performing on major stages from Tomorrowland and Creamfields to his acclaimed Glitterbox residency at Hï Ibiza, Mousse T. is primed to bring the energy to Love to be.
Joining him is underground favourite Groove P, whose rise has been nothing short of explosive. Since breaking through with “Are They Real”, his productions have become staples at DC10 Ibiza, fabric London, Hï Ibiza and even Coachella, earning support from Marco Carola, Peggy Gou, Hot Since 82 and Dennis Cruz. His groove-driven sound brings a fresh, modern edge to the Hangr main room.
Also in the main room are Trimtone, the long-standing duo at the heart of Love to be’s global success. With more than 30 years shaping UK house culture, international DJ sets and releases on Toolroom, Armada, Nervous and King Street, they continue to drive the brand’s worldwide events, record label and syndicated radio show reaching seven million weekly listeners across 30 countries. Support comes from Love to be residents James Worrell, Watty, Cheryl Wright, Sinclair and Andy Wadlow.
Room two at Hangr becomes “The Music Factory” in honour of the Sheffield club on London Road where it all began for Love to be in 1994. Featuring house music classics from open until close, who better than key Hacienda DJ Tom Wainwright to headline, representing the golden age of club culture. Expect even more classics from local talent Melly D and Love to be regulars Stuart Pilling, Booty, Shaun Hayes, Rudi and Amy S, who know exactly how to rock the Love to be dancefloor.

This event follows Love to be’s inner-city festival held at SteelYard over the late May Bank Holiday summer, which saw house music royalty Roger Sanchez, The Shapeshifters and David Penn in the driving seats, churning out the best house music to Love to be’s cross-generational crowd.
Back in 1994, Love to be was known as the North’s original super club. Thirty years on, the brand is stronger than ever, hosting sell-out festivals and events across Harrogate, Ibiza, New York and Sydney, broadcasting via its global syndicated radio show, and releasing handpicked sounds across its cutting-edge label.
With Hangr’s unreal sound system, immersive visuals and The Music Factory taking over room two, Sheffield is set for a full-scale warehouse experience from one of the UK’s most enduring house brands. Tickets start from £26 + fees via Skiddle.
