This one takes a more nostalgic turn. While previous entries leaned into minimal structure and jazz-led textures, ‘Vibin in May’ shifts towards French touch and filter house influences, bringing a brighter, more expressive feel into the series. The groove still locks in early, driven by pumping drums and a rhythmic bassline that keeps everything moving with intent.

From there, it opens up. Long, sweeping melodic lines sit across the groove, adding a sense of lift without breaking the track’s flow. Filtered elements move in and out of focus, creating that familiar push and pull associated with classic French house. There’s a clear sense of motion in the way the track breathes, with each layer introduced at just the right moment.

That’s where it stands apart. Soulful pitched vocals add another layer of texture, sitting within the arrangement rather than dominating it. They reinforce the track’s identity while keeping the focus on groove and progression. The result feels more playful, but still controlled.

As with the rest of the series, it stays functional. The structure remains tight, making it easy to blend across longer sections, while the added musicality gives it more presence in the mix. It’s a track that works equally well as a tool and a moment.

‘Vibin in May’ continues to evolve the series, bringing in new influences while keeping the same focus on movement, feel and dancefloor connection.
