Yousef Drops New Single, ‘I Feel Good’, Ft. Alexx

Fresh off the success of his Beatport chart-topping album,Operate In Purple’, released on Circus Recordings earlier this Autumn, Yousef returns with a standout single from the LP that’s quickly becoming a firm favourite. Teaming up with seasoned Hollywood soul vocalist Alexx, the pair deliver ‘I Feel Good’, an uplifting peak-time party groove grounded in classic house sensibilities. Drawing loosely from an understated 1980s soul touchstone, Yousef and Alexx rebuild the song from the ground up, injecting new lyrics, vocals, hooks, and a vibrant energy to lift everyone up this incoming party season. Alexx’s rich delivery sits front and centre, while Yousef constructs a feel-good widescreen backdrop that channels the spirit of early-90s New York. There are clear nods to Def Mix and the legacy of Frankie Knuckles and David Morales, but the result lands firmly in Yousef’s lane: direct, uplifting, and engineered for dancefloors that don’t want to come down.

Three decades into his career, Yousef remains one of dance music’s most consistent innovators. Alongside a long list of singles on his own Circus Recordings, he has released on Cocoon, Desolat, Crosstown Rebels, Defected, BPitch Control, Moon Harbour, Knee Deep In Sound, FFRR and countless others. His remix catalogue spans Sven Väth, Four Tet, Chaka Khan, Derrick Carter, and Fatboy Slim, reflecting a producer with both range and a long-standing global footprint.

With five acclaimed albums behind him, including ‘A Collection Of Scars And Situations’ (2009), ‘A Product Of Your Environment’ (2012), ‘In The Process Of Eight’ (2015), ‘9 Moor Drive’ (2019), and ‘I Operate In Purple’ (2025), Yousef’s infectious output continues to evolve without losing its core identity. As a DJ, he remains a fixture on the world circuit, regularly stepping onto the biggest festival stages and club booths, and going B2B with icons like Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, and Eats Everything. His long-running Liverpool party, Circus, now in its 24th year, stands as one of the UK’s most enduring rave institutions an essential stop-off for anyone shaping the sound of modern club culture.
