Brooklyn-based twin duo The Pintauro Brothers return with a new single that lives up to its name. ‘Comfort Song’ is a 132 BPM deep house track that wraps you in warmth while keeping your feet moving.
Built around a driving rhythm and euphoric chords, the track balances groove and emotion in all the right places. The melodies soothe. The percussion glides. There’s a nostalgic tone to the whole thing that leans into late-night club sessions and post-party reflections. But it’s not all introspection – this one still bumps with purpose.
You can imagine ‘Comfort Song’ in a Café del Mar-style sunset mix just as easily as you can hear it pulsing through a low-ceilinged Brooklyn basement. It’s versatile without being vague – melodic deep house done right.
The brothers, Daniel and Stephen Pintauro, grew up bouncing between cities like New Orleans, Cleveland, and Nashville. That blend of cultural influence shapes their music – rooted in house, touched by soul, never overproduced. They first started DJing in college before planting themselves in Brooklyn’s underground circuit, where they’ve played at spots like Jupiter Disco, Café Balearica and TBA.
Through their parties The Script and Good Tempo (also the name of their label), they’ve been building a small but loyal following, prioritising community over hype.
‘Comfort Song’ follows a busy 2024 for the duo, with highlights including a release on the iconic Nervous Records and multiple drops via House Salad Music and Anxiety Therapy. Their catalogue now spans 16 tracks, showing clear evolution with each one.
This latest release is no exception – polished, emotive, and quietly powerful.
