Sound Waves Brings Its Biggest Christmas Rave To Lisbon With Azyr, Fatima Hajji And More
Portugal’s Sound Waves Festival has completed the line-up for its XMAS Edition XL, bringing its biggest Christmas event to Lisbon’s Pavilhão Carlos Lopes on 19th December 2026.
Marking a significant change for the festival’s winter programme, the Christmas edition will leave Porto’s Hard Club for the first time since its launch in 2023, moving to the Portuguese capital for an extended ten-hour session running from 8pm until 6am.
Leading the bill are Azyr, Fatima Hajji, Prada 2000 and Zapravka, alongside Blnk b2b Titi, Bøęry and Portuguese favourite Ornella. Together, the artists cover a broad spectrum of harder electronic sounds, from industrial techno and schranz to hard trance, bounce and hard house.
British DJ Azyr brings the high-intensity sound that has made him a prominent name within the Teletech circuit, while Spanish techno heavyweight Fatima Hajji arrives following a busy run of international performances and her recent remix of ‘Atlantis’.
Russian duo Zapravka will deliver their energetic live show, with Prada 2000 introducing a different rhythmic dimension through his combination of hard trance, bounce and hard house. The Gotec resident has become a regular presence across platforms and events including HÖR Berlin and F2F.
Representing Portugal, Ornella returns with her uncompromising schranz sound, while Bøęry brings bochka into the programme. Blnk and Titi complete the bill with a back-to-back set rooted in industrial techno.
The announcement follows Sound Waves’ Summer Edition in Esmoriz on 11th July, which organisers describe as the largest in the festival’s history, attracting attendees from more than 35 countries.
With its Christmas edition now relocating to Lisbon, Sound Waves is extending its presence in the Portuguese capital while maintaining the harder musical direction that has defined its recent events.
Sound Waves XMAS Edition XL takes place at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Lisbon, on Saturday 19th December 2026, from 20:00 until 06:00. Tickets are available now through the festival’s official website.
