Sound Waves Festival returns to Esmoriz on 11th July for its summer edition, marking 21 years with over 20 hours of non-stop hard techno and hard bounce. Grab your tickets here.
The scale is clear from the start. Running from Saturday evening through to Sunday afternoon, the festival delivers 21 hours of continuous music across two stages, bringing together a mix of established names and emerging artists shaping the harder end of the scene.
The line-up reflects that balance. Artists including Adrián Mills, Cloudy and Restricted sit alongside key figures such as SPFDJ, O.B.I., Svetec and Trym, covering a wide spectrum of high-BPM club sounds.
There’s a strong focus on current momentum. Hard bounce continues to push forward, with artists like Adrián Mills leading the charge, while collaborations and back-to-back sets bring added variation across the programme. Sets such as KUKO b2b Johannes Schuster and Svetec b2b O.B.I. highlight the event’s focus on energy and intensity.
Local talent also plays a key role. Names including Ornella and Sheila represent the Portuguese scene, while acts like 6EJOU and Toxic Machinery bring a more industrial edge to the line-up.
