Electronic music pioneer Paul van Dyk has reached a rare milestone as VONYC Sessions clocks its 1,000th episode. He marked the moment with a sold-out show on 24 January at Uber Eats Music Hall, drawing fans from across Europe and beyond for a night rooted in community and shared history.
Since launching in 2004, VONYC Sessions has grown into one of dance music’s most consistent global broadcasts. It now airs on 72 stations worldwide, reaching an average of 32,180,000 listeners, along with more than 4 million podcast downloads. Few radio brands in electronic music carry that level of sustained reach.
“For 1,000 episodes, it’s been a weekly meeting point,” Paul van Dyk said. “This milestone belongs to everyone who’s been listening and discovering with me.”
The celebration also aligns with new music. Paul teams up with Ciaran McAuley on ‘When I Found You’, a melodic, vocal-led cut that stays true to his emotive trance foundations while leaning into a modern, polished edge. Buy/Stream it here: https://blackhole.lnk.to/WhenIFoundYou.
In addition, his Nature One Festival Mix is now live on Apple Music, capturing the scale and intensity of one of Germany’s defining electronic gatherings.
A global tour is set to follow, extending into 2026 with dates across multiple continents. It reinforces a career built not only on records, but on sustained connection through clubs, festivals and airwaves.
Three decades in, Paul van Dyk continues to anchor his output around community, consistency and belief in the dancefloor as a shared space.
