Patrick Topping has joined forces with Rebūke and 1111 for ‘People Dancing’, a heavyweight new collaboration released on 21st August via Topping’s Trick imprint.

Built firmly for peak time moments, ‘People Dancing’ brings together pounding drums, warped synth work and a driving bassline, with distorted stabs and skewed acid lines giving the production an increasingly unruly edge.

At the centre is 1111’s distinctive vocal, cutting through the heavier production as the track steadily builds towards an explosive release. Its message is simple, capturing the collective experience at the heart of club culture.

“I’ve always believed music is meant to bring people together,” says 1111. “This record is about exactly that, people dancing without a care, connecting with each other and getting lost in the music as a collective.”

The collaboration brings together three artists operating across different corners of contemporary club music.

Topping remains one of the UK’s most prominent house artists, with his Trick imprint growing alongside his own international touring career into an established platform for club focused electronic music.

Irish producer Rebūke brings a broader house, techno and melodic influence to the collaboration. Recent years have seen him perform at Coachella and Sphere Las Vegas, while releases through labels including Hot Creations and Afterlife have helped establish his sound across both underground clubs and major festival stages.

Completing the line up is Lauren Cumberpatch, AKA 1111, whose work as a DJ, producer and vocalist has attracted support from BBC Radio 1 figures including Jaguar, Danny Howard, Sarah Story and Jeremiah Asiamah.

With all three identities present, ‘People Dancing’ lands as a direct, high energy collaboration built around exactly what its title promises.
