Parallel Society has revealed the full programme for its 2026 edition in Lisbon, bringing together counter culture, civic technology and forward-thinking music across two days in Marvila. Get your tickets here.
Taking place on 6 and 7 March, the event unfolds in the city’s former industrial district, now a hub for independent art and nightlife. The focus remains clear. Parallel Society explores decentralised systems, privacy, open-source culture, and community autonomy, while pairing that dialogue with an ambitious music programme.
Day one centres on the [un]conference. Workshops, protocol labs and discussion circles run alongside hackspaces and co-design sessions. Contributors include Aaron R. Day of OwnNothing.org, Dr Agata Ferreira of the Institute of Free Technology, Amir Taaki of DarkFi and Harry Halpin of Nym Technologies. The day is built for active participation rather than passive listening.

Day two shifts into a full cultural showcase. Highlights include DJ Stingray 313, Los Bitchos, Apparat (Live), Gilles Peterson with MC Rob Galliano, Clark, Moses Boyd, Calibre and Kode9. More than 60 per cent of the lineup is Lisbon-based, reinforcing the event’s commitment to local talent.
Parallel Society operates as a not-for-profit initiative, curated collectively by an international coalition. Beyond talks and club sets, an on-site exhibition curated by Logos presents work from João Cardoso, Ana Tortos, Batu and others, examining networks as social and sculptural forms.
Tickets are on sale now for this two-day gathering in Marvila.
