Nino Blink drops hypnotic techno EP, “Headquarters” feat. Javier Ferreira & MRDIE remixes.

Nino Blink debuts on Elektrotribe with a hypnotic techno release that has gritty drums and driving energy.
He’s a Scottish native currently living in Singapore, and he has an international reputation as both a DJ and producer. Nino Blink played regularly at Club 69 in Glasgow where he was resident at the BLINK parties.
He is debuting on Moog Conspiracy’s record label Elektrotribe after releasing music on other respected labels, such as Sisko Electrofanatik’s Gain and Anna Tur’s Lowlita.
The release also has remixes by Javier Ferreira and MRDIE. Javier Ferreira is an eclectic producer showing off his love of breakbeats, and MRDIE is a techno producer known for his music on labels such as Richie Hawtin's M-nus.
The title track, “Headquarters” has bleeping melodies and warping textures sandwiched between a pounding kick drum and thrashing hi-hats. Javier Ferreira’s remix of “Headquarters” works in some breakbeat drums, and pushes the low-end in order to switch up the groove.
“MDLR” is the second original track, and its throbbing pads and rolling bassline underpin the warping arpeggio that leads the track. MRDIE’s remix of “MDLR” adds in a twinkling melody, and works in dramatic bass stabs that add a jackin’ jerk to the hypnotic flow.
