Austrian drum and bass artist Maykl puts a high-energy spin on Wild with a new dancefloor-focused reinterpretation built around soaring vocals, punchy drops and modern mainline DnB production.

Inspired by the melodic festival-ready sound associated with artists such as Dimension and Wilkinson, the track transforms the original pop hit into a fast-moving club weapon without losing the anthem-like qualities that made the source material so memorable in the first place.

From the outset, Maykl locks the track into a driving rhythmic framework built on sharp percussion, energetic low-end movement and euphoric melodic tension. The familiar vocal hooks remain central throughout, but now sit against heavyweight drum and bass foundations designed for peak-time crowds and large sound systems.

Rather than simply speeding up the original, the producer reshapes the track with a more cinematic and emotionally charged energy. Big synth work, rolling basslines and carefully timed drops give the release a strong sense of movement while maintaining enough space for the vocals and melodic moments to breathe.

That balance reflects Maykl’s wider approach as an artist. Since beginning his journey at just 14 years old, the Austrian producer has steadily built a reputation for combining underground drum and bass intensity with more accessible singalong moments and emotionally driven production.

With his version of ‘Wild’, Maykl delivers a polished and highly playable drum and bass adaptation that feels built equally for festival stages, club systems and late-night crowd reactions.
