Marco Florio is Our First 'Scene Selectors' Mix Series Guest

Introducing our new mix series, Scene Selectors – a celebration of DJs who have shaped the sound of their hometowns and kept the local scene alive with heart, grit and serious talent.

To kick things off, we’ve invited Marco Florio, a true staple of the Naples underground.

Marco’s journey with music started early, digging through his dad’s vinyl collection at just six years old. By 15, he was already behind the decks playing small clubs across the city. Since then, he’s played everywhere from Milan to Pacha Hammamet and even soundtracked New Year’s Eve for thousands back home.

His sound is always evolving. Drawing from 70s disco, house and melodic techno, Marco refuses to be boxed in. His sets are fluid and personal, shaped by decades of crate digging, radio work and club experience.

Now also a producer, he’s released on respected labels like Dear Deer, Krafted and Natura Viva, continuing to grow his sonic identity beyond the booth.

Episode one of Scene Selectors is a deep dive into Marco’s world – rich, rhythmic and rooted in the culture he grew up with.
