Italy’s Concrete Records are back with a refined journey of deep and hypnotic techno on Disegno Remix Vol. 3, which is a thoughtful reinterpretation of Maurizio Cascella’s “Disegno 2” original track. Rather than pushing for dramatic reinvention, the release focuses on subtle shifts in texture, rhythm, and atmosphere, allowing each artist to gently reshape the original into something uniquely personal.

Maurizio Cascella has steadily developed a sound rooted in restraint and depth, also collaborating with artists such as Dino Sabatini and Fabrizio Lapiana across projects on Outis Music and Attic Music.

The original version of “Disegno 2” sits calmly at the centre of the release, guided by reduced elements, steady movement, and a quietly hypnotic energy that unfolds naturally over time.

Luigi Tozzi contributes two distinct interpretations, both shaped by the atmospheric depth that has defined his output on labels such as Hypnus, Dynamic Reflection, Non Series, and ARTS. His ‘Spiral Mix’ unfolds gradually, layering flowing textures and delicate rhythmic shifts into a deeply immersive trip, while the digital only bonus 'Rephase,' strips and reshapes the material into something even more abstract and meditative.

Francesco Pierguidi takes a more spacious approach, allowing fragments of sound and subtle tonal shifts to breathe freely, creating a suspended and introspective mood.

Psyk closes the vinyl edition with a firmer, more physical interpretation. The Non Series founder sharpens the groove and increases the tension, yet still preserves the hypnotic essence at the core of the original composition.
