KLSY returns to the Mantide record label with a release that blends tech house and peak-time techno.
Hailing from Italy, K LSY are a duo featuring on Mantide for the third time. The opening track is peak time techno with a bouncy groove, and the second track is a tech house banger in their usual style.
New kids on the block, this is only K LSY’s fourth official release, but they are already showcasing a diverse sound with expert production. They are also making waves as DJs who play regular gigs within the Pesaro region of Italy, where they are based.
They have also featured on the Sonoros imprint, showcasing a style that combines powerful melodies with infectious vocals and thickset basslines.
“Step On” opens the release with an up-tempo techno groove, combining a pulsating bassline and electro-tinged acid, with chopped up vocals and a pounding kick.
The title track, “Les Crepes” drops the tempo with spiralling synths and acid flutters forming a chunky tech house groove, while chic French vocals add a sensual vibe.
