Juliet Fox has announced the launch of ‘The Mother Frequency’, a new podcast exploring the relationship between motherhood, creativity and life within the music industry.
The series opens a more personal chapter for the DJ and producer. Known for her work within the global techno scene, Juliet now shifts focus towards conversation-led storytelling, creating a platform centred around lived experience rather than polished industry narratives.
That approach defines the podcast. Each episode brings together artists, creators and women navigating the realities of balancing career, identity and motherhood, both on and off the road. The discussions aim to explore areas that are often overlooked within electronic music culture, offering space for more open and direct conversations.
The debut episode launched on 6th May. Featuring Melbourne-based DJ Sunshine, the first instalment sets the tone for the wider series, focusing on honesty, connection and shared experience rather than surface-level discussion.
There’s a clear cultural angle to the project. While rooted in electronic music, ‘The Mother Frequency’ expands beyond the dancefloor, exploring how artists evolve personally alongside their careers and how identity shifts through different stages of life.
That perspective gives the podcast its identity. Rather than positioning motherhood separately from creative life, the series looks at how the two constantly intersect and influence each other.
Episodes of ‘The Mother Frequency’ will be available across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Amazon, with Juliet Fox positioning the project as an ongoing space for reflection, openness and community within the wider music world.
