Canadian producer Joe McCann returns to Biome Recordings with ‘Infinity’, a powerful new single that leans into the darker and more club-focused edges of melodic dance music.

Built around a strong sense of movement, ‘Infinity’ pulls together elements of Melodic Techno, Progressive House and Psy Trance without ever feeling overstretched. Instead, McCann keeps the track locked into a clear direction, using each influence to sharpen its impact on the dancefloor.

There is a real weight to the groove here. That comes through not just in the drums and low-end pressure, but in the way the melodic parts shift and evolve across the arrangement. Everything feels designed to keep the record moving forward, giving it a sense of momentum that stays consistent from start to finish.

The darker tone also gives ‘Infinity’ plenty of character. It is gritty, driving and full of energy, but still detailed enough to hold attention beyond the initial punch of the drop. That balance works well, especially for listeners drawn to melodic records that still carry edge and physicality in a club setting.

With ‘Infinity’, Joe McCann delivers a track that understands what makes melodic-focused dance music effective while also pushing in a few different directions. It is a confident return to Biome Recordings and one that feels built for late-night sets.
