1. Maceo Plex - Wervik
I remember hearing this song while I was listening to Maceo’s set at Loveland in Amsterdam during the 2023 summer and it instantly triggered me. The perfect combination of fragile vocals and a bad ass production.
2. Moderat - More Love (Rampa &ME Remix)
The original track is a celebration of life, and this remix that Rampa &ME did captures that emotion very well. Outstanding production quality and great sound design on this track. Pushes crowds to higher levels for sure. Ultimate feel good track.Â
3. Estiva - Via Infinita (Marsh Remix) This track has everything it needs to be in my playlist for gigs. It is very energetic, but also has this melancholic and yet hopeful feeling due to the melodies of this track. A future classic for sure.Â
4. Fred Again & Brian Eno - Cmon A beatless track in between, a song that I like to listen to a lot when I need to relax. This track makes you float and forget about everything that’s going on. The production on this track is amazing, a nice blend between legend Brian Eno and future legend Fred Again. Close your eyes, turn on this track and enjoy the journey.Â
5. Mitch de Klein - Embrace
I had to put it in here, as it’s one of my most recent releases and I am very proud of this track and the positive reactions I have received so far. In the studio it felt like all the pieces of the puzzle fell into each other very naturally and this track is a reminder to embrace each moment and be grateful for what you have.Â
6. Olivier Giacomotto - Hypnotized (Mark Hoffen's Stellar Disco Remix) This has been one of the tracks I played out a lot during the summer and I still love it. Mark Hoffen made an excellent remix that makes people on the dancefloor smile.Â
7. Adriatique & WhoMadeWho - Miracle (RÃœFÃœS DU SOL Remix)
A combination of artists like this can only be gold and that is what this track is. In a time where everything needs to be faster and shorter, this track is a real 8 minute journey. Great vocals, great sound design and amazing production.Â
8. Mees Salomé - Haunted
One thing that is always on point with Mees is his ability to create tracks that both have beautiful melodies and energy. Add a warm vocal to that and you get ‘Haunted’. A beautiful piece of art.Â
9. TWO LANES - Searching (VNTM Remix)
Whenever I’m doing work that’s not related to music, I find it really nice to turn on the music of TWO LANES, and when I saw that VNTM made a remix of their track ‘Searching’ I was happily surprised. It’s a bit more melodic than the stuff he released recently, and I love this remix.Â
10. Royskopp ft. Jamie Irrepressible - The Next Day (Mind Against Remix)
My most played track according to my Spotify stats. Also played this one a lot in my shows and it’s just a masterpiece. I’m a really big fan of the productions of Mind Against and this remix proves that they are on top of the game, so good!Â
