Florian Picasso begins 2026 by leaning fully into the underground with his new single ‘Pretty Boy’, out now on RAW. The release moves away from the playful tone of his recent output and reveals a tougher, more uncompromising side of his club sound.
‘Pretty Boy’ is built on deep, pounding low end and shadowed textures designed for late-night dancefloors. The groove is heavy and direct, favouring pressure and restraint over hooks or theatrics. It is a track made for moments when the room needs something raw and functional, with no excess and no distraction.
The single follows Florian’s most successful year to date. In 2025, he released a run of widely supported records including ‘When I Saw U’, the Booty EP and the viral ‘Sugar Daddy’, alongside an intense touring schedule. Key moments included appearances at Solomun plus one at Pacha Ibiza and his first all-night long set at Rex Club, confirming his growing status as a serious club artist.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, Florian has cited his admiration for Boys Noize and his ability to move between genres with grit and intent. ‘Pretty Boy’ was created with that mindset, focused on aggressive energy and a darker electro techno crossover sound that he would genuinely play himself.
Outside of music, Florian continues to build a presence across fashion and contemporary culture. Recent appearances at Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks for brands including Prada, Kolor and David Catalán highlight his expanding creative reach. His Dekadance imprint and event series, developed alongside DureVie, further establish his role as a curator within the underground scene.
‘Pretty Boy’ sets a clear tone for the year ahead. Stripped back, heavy and confident, it marks a decisive step in Florian Picasso’s evolution, prioritising depth, tension and club credibility as he moves forward into 2026.
