DYEN has announced his debut album ‘HERE WE ARE’, launching the project with its first single, ‘VIEZE KICK’, via RECKLESS.

The album arrives on 28th August and marks a major moment for the Rotterdam producer, bringing together years of development into a 12-track project rooted in hard techno while expanding into a wider range of sounds and influences.

‘VIEZE KICK’ sets the tone immediately. Driven by a bouncing bassline and punishing kick patterns, the track leans fully into high-energy territory while balancing harder textures against more euphoric melodic moments. The groove remains direct and relentless, built for peak-time impact across larger club and festival systems.

That contrast defines the record. Sharp synth work and hook-led vocal moments keep the track moving with intensity, while the arrangement introduces enough variation to stop it becoming one-dimensional. The result feels raw, aggressive and deliberately over-the-top in all the right ways.

The single also acts as a wider introduction to the album’s direction. According to DYEN, ‘HERE WE ARE’ explores the evolution of harder electronic music, moving between industrial techno, bounce, hardcore and more melodic influences while maintaining a consistent energy throughout. All vocals across the project have been recorded by DYEN himself, giving the album a more personal connection to his wider artistic identity.

That personal angle matters. While the music is clearly built for large-scale dancefloors, the album also reflects his long-standing relationship with performance and harder club culture, shaped by growing up around Rotterdam’s hardcore and gabber scenes.

With ‘VIEZE KICK’, DYEN delivers a first taste of an album designed to capture the current intensity of hard techno while pushing into broader territory, setting up what looks to be one of the genre’s biggest full-length releases of the year.
