Dave Mayer Collaborates With Husky & Rona Ray On ‘Bear With Me’

Dave Mayer kicks off 2026 with a return to Bobbin Head Music, linking up with label head Husky and favourite vocalist of the moment, Rona Ray for a new collaboration titled ‘Bear With Me’. The track lands as a warm, soulful house treat built on lush chords, rolling grooves and the classy musicality all three of these creative artists are known for. Popular songbird, Rona Ray, leads the charge with a rich soulful performance that blends emotion with effortless control, floating over a bed of deep house textures.
Bobbin Head’s own Husky steps in with a Soulful Beach Club Mix that leans into his trademark Aussie sunlit sound. The rework brings a smooth, melodic swing that lifts Rona’s vocal into a brighter space. Dave Mayer rounds out the package with a late-night dub that strips things back to a hypnotic pulse, pushing deeper into mood driven territory without losing the infectious soulful vibe.
Dave Mayer’s catalogue already spans respected labels including Strictly Rhythm Records, Nite Grooves, Street King, Large Music and Salted Music. His previous work with Husky includes a remix of Frankie Knuckles’ collaboration with Kenny Summit and Eric Kupper, ‘Loving You’, a moment that cemented their shared affinity for classic house foundations. Husky continues to operate as one of Sydney’s most consistent house figures, both as a solo artist and as one half of Random Soul with Yogi.
