Carl Cox set for headline show at Croatia's Cave Romane this August with BSH Events

Following a run of standout events this summer, BSH Events has announced that Carl Cox will headline a special open-air show at Cave Romane in Croatia on August 7.

The performance follows BSH's recent Gates of Agartha collaboration and a series of headline events featuring Amelie Lens and Black Coffee, continuing the promoter's focus on bringing globally recognised electronic artists to some of Croatia's most unique locations.

Set near the village of Vinkuran on the Istrian peninsula, Cave Romane is one of the country's most striking event spaces. The former Roman quarry is surrounded by towering limestone walls that rise above the dancefloor, creating a dramatic natural amphitheatre that has become increasingly popular for large-scale electronic music events.

Few artists are better suited to the setting than Carl Cox. Across more than four decades, the British DJ and producer has remained one of dance music's most influential figures, moving seamlessly between house, techno and acid while maintaining his status as one of the scene's most celebrated performers. From the UK's early rave movement through to festival headline slots around the world, Cox continues to draw audiences across generations.

For the event, BSH Events will once again collaborate with production specialists Highscream, the team behind a number of large-scale audiovisual experiences across Europe. Rather than imposing a traditional festival setup onto the venue, the production will be designed around the quarry itself, using laser mapping, immersive lighting and large-scale visual installations to transform the surrounding rock formations while preserving the raw character of the site.

The show forms part of BSH's growing portfolio of destination events across Croatia, which have increasingly focused on pairing internationally renowned artists with culturally and historically significant locations. As electronic music tourism continues to grow across the region, Cave Romane has established itself as one of the country's most distinctive venues, offering an alternative to conventional clubs and festival sites.

Carl Cox plays Cave Romane, Croatia on August 7, 2026. Tickets are on sale now via Entrio, priced from €49.
