ADE And Insomniac Announce Map Point Summit In Las Vegas For 2027

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Insomniac are joining forces for Map Point Summit, a new three-day gathering for the electronic music industry in Las Vegas next May.
Taking place between the two weekends of EDC Las Vegas, scheduled for 14th to 16th and 21st to 23rd May 2027, the summit will bring artists, independent promoters, entrepreneurs and industry professionals together for talks, workshops and networking.
The announcement came during ADE's 30th edition in Amsterdam, where Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella discussed the importance of supporting independent promoters and protecting the community that helped build rave culture.
The name comes from the map points once used in underground US rave culture. Partygoers would meet at a designated location before receiving directions to the event. The organisers want to bring that same sense of connection to the industry, helping emerging talent find people, knowledge and opportunities.
The planned programme will cover industry discussions, educational sessions and creative workshops, with a focus on building a more sustainable future for independent dance music events. Speakers, ticketing and the full schedule have yet to be announced.
Map Point Summit forms part of Insomniac's wider 12 Days of EDC programme. Further details are available through the official announcement below.
