‘Your Light’, the debut release from Mexican producer Luum, introduced a project built on hypnotic grooves, cinematic textures and human emotion. Now, with a remix from rising star Aquarius Ezra, the track finds a new form. Released on 20 June via Dance Floor Mania, this reinterpretation pushes the original into a more experimental and trance-fuelled space, expanding its impact for the dancefloor.
Where Luum’s original emphasised raw vocals and emotive storytelling, Ezra dials up the intensity. The remix keeps the vocal presence intact, but surrounds it with expansive synth lines, layered atmospheres and surging progressions. The result is a version that feels more driving, more urgent, yet still retains the emotional pull that made the original so distinctive.
Aquarius Ezra’s touch is clear throughout. At just 22, he has already carved out a reputation for blending melodic techno with progressive energy, creating tracks that resonate widely across the global scene. His collaboration with Afterlife artist Adam Sellouk on ERRORR established him as one to watch. At the same time, support from names like Vintage Culture, ARTBAT, Korolova, Yotto and Agents of Time has pushed his music onto major stages including Tomorrowland, Zamna and Afterlife events. This remix carries the same hallmarks: atmospheric tension, hypnotic rhythm, and a climactic release built for big rooms.
For Luum, this remix also helps frame his debut in the broader context. As the solo project of Ismael Gálvez, Luum blends analogue warmth and cinematic scope with futuristic textures, creating melodic techno designed to resonate beyond the club. With Ezra’s remix, ‘Your Light’ now sits in two worlds: intimate and reflective in its original form, expansive and powerful in its rework.
Together, the release captures the power of collaboration across generations. ‘Your Light’ shows Luum’s potential as a new voice in melodic techno, while Aquarius Ezra’s remix amplifies its reach with a trance-infused, festival-ready energy. It is a striking first step for Luum and another strong showing from Ezra as he cements his place among the next wave of global talent.
