Apple Music Expands Dance Music Offering With New Club Mix And Club Resident Series

Apple Music has unveiled two major new DJ mix platforms, Club Mix and Club Resident, further strengthening its position as a destination for dance and electronic music culture.
Announced today, the new flagship series build upon Apple Music's existing DJ Mix programme and editorial curation, creating dedicated spaces for both established names and emerging talent to showcase exclusive mixes while documenting key moments across contemporary club culture.
Club Mix launches with four exclusive sets from some of electronic music's most exciting artists. The opening instalment features internet phenomenon horsegiirL alongside electroclash pioneer Miss Kittin, rising French selector Paloma Le Friant and a back-to-back session from techno innovators Anetha and Tatyana Jane. Three of the mixes were recorded as part of Fête de la Musique, the annual French cultural celebration that transforms cities around the world into large-scale open-air music festivals.

Alongside Club Mix, Apple Music is introducing Club Resident, an ongoing residency platform allowing artists to explore their sound across multiple mixes. The inaugural residents are house music heavyweights The Martinez Brothers and Irish DJ, producer and vocalist Jazzy. The Martinez Brothers will launch the series on 24th June, with Jazzy's first instalment arriving on 8th July following her recent collaboration with Calvin Harris.
"DJ mixes have always been one of the most important ways artists tell their stories and document a moment in culture," said Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music. "With Club Mix and Club Resident, we're creating new platforms for artists to share defining creative statements while building a lasting archive of dance music culture."
The new programmes will be available on demand through Apple Music subscriptions, while selected mixes will also air free via Apple Music Club Radio. Future editions are already scheduled throughout the summer, with additional Club Mix releases and further residencies from both The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy set to follow.
