Amelie Lens' EXHALE imprint has announced the eighth instalment of its long-running various artists compilation series, bringing together 15 tracks from 17 producers shaping the next wave of harder electronic music.

Landing on 31st July, EXHALE VA008 continues the label's tradition of spotlighting emerging talent while showcasing the evolving sound that has become synonymous with the Belgian imprint. Rather than focusing solely on hard techno, the compilation moves between acid, psytrance, industrial, rave and peak-time club music, reflecting the increasingly fluid boundaries of today's underground scene.

The campaign begins on 17th July with VE/RA's 'Out Of My Mind', where hypnotic psytrance rhythms meet acid-driven synth lines and subtle schranz influences. It is followed on 20th July by Liverpool producer Alex Farell, who returns to EXHALE after previous appearances on the label's fifth and sixth compilations with 'Critical', a driving hard techno cut built around relentless percussion and warehouse-ready energy.

French producer Ctrl completes the run of advance singles on 24th July with 'Riser'. Already supported by artists including Trym, Hannah Laing and Panteros666, the track delivers soaring rave-inspired synths, hard bounce influences and peak-time intensity ahead of the full compilation's release.

Elsewhere, EXHALE VA008 features contributions from BRÅWN, Flour, Blondex & Portex, Jose Bonetto, PALOMA, Franco Smith, Aundreja & Kode, Milio Ruando, Ellen Trenn, Khira Li, Molothav and RUBIØ. Collectively, the artists explore everything from industrial warehouse techno and tribal grooves to psychedelic rave hybrids and melodic, atmospheric moments without losing sight of the dancefloor.

Since its launch, EXHALE has become one of the defining labels within contemporary hard techno, with its compilation series providing a platform for breakthrough artists alongside established names. VA008 continues that approach, presenting a snapshot of a scene that continues to evolve while remaining firmly rooted in high-energy club music.
