Alex Farell Announces Debut Album ‘Youngest In Charge’ On Sara Landry’s HEKATE

Liverpool producer Alex Farell has announced his debut album, Youngest In Charge, marking a major milestone in the rapid rise of one of the UK's most exciting young techno artists.


Set for release on 30th October via Sara Landry's HEKATE imprint, the ten-track album will be preceded by its first single, 'Club Acid', arriving on 24th July. The project explores the many corners of Farell's evolving sound, combining hard techno, hard dance, trance, acid and psytrance into a cohesive body of work built for modern dancefloors.


Still only 19 years old, Farell has already built an impressive reputation on the international circuit. Having started DJing at home at the age of 12 and playing his first shows at 14 under the supervision of his parents, he has since performed at major events including Creamfields, Parklife, Terminal V, Blackstone Warehouse and Warehouse Project, establishing himself as one of the fastest-rising names in the harder end of electronic music.



Leading the campaign is 'Club Acid', a warehouse-ready production driven by rolling acid lines, fluid grooves and relentless energy. According to Farell, the track was inspired by signing to some of the labels he had admired growing up and was written with the ambition of creating something his musical heroes would want to play.


Rather than serving as a collection of standalone club tracks, Youngest In Charge presents a broader artistic statement, showcasing Farell's ability to balance high-impact dancefloor moments with deeper, more cinematic production across its ten tracks.


With support continuing to build around his releases and live performances, the album represents another significant step in the career of a producer who has quickly become one of the standout young talents shaping the future of contemporary techno.
