Yves V reworks De Nuit’s 2001 smash, ‘All That Mattered (Love You Down)’

Belgium’s Yves V reaches into the vault and emerges with a wonderful update on De Nuit’s cult classic, ‘All That Mattered (Love You Down)’. A much-loved track etched into early 2000’s dancefloor memory, is now  coming out on Spinnin’ Records. Yves preserves the original’s gorgeous guitar riff and emotive vocals, whilst layering in a crisp, modern production that nods to the past while leaping into 2025 with style.

With a discography spanning melodic anthems like ‘Forever’, ‘Enter My World’ and the Basto collab ‘Cloudbreaker’, Yves V has carved out a space between festival energy and timeless hooks. Add to that a résumé of mainstage appearances at Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, along with remixes for names like Ian Carey, Timbaland and Missy Elliott, and his instinct for bridging eras feels all the more effortless here.
