Ursul Records returns with ‘The Circus In Town Vol. 2’, its second various artists compilation, continuing to shape a sound built around club energy, rhythm and movement.
Founded by Omer Keinan and T-Puse, the label has positioned itself as a platform for forward-facing house music that balances dancefloor function with a clear sense of identity. This latest release builds on that direction, leaning into heavier, more club-oriented territory while maintaining the diversity that defines the label’s catalogue.
‘The Circus In Town Vol. 2’ brings together a range of producers, each contributing their own take on house music. The result is a compilation that moves across styles without losing cohesion. Deeper, groove-led cuts sit alongside more vibrant, high-energy productions, creating a varied listening experience that still feels connected through rhythm and pacing.
Keinan and T-Puse also feature on the release, with tracks such as ‘Massive Husk’ and ‘Under Cover Gypsy’ highlighting their individual approaches. Their productions blend psychedelic textures with rolling grooves, setting the tone for the wider project.
Elsewhere, contributions from artists including Yannick Mueller and Oi add further depth, introducing elements such as jazz-influenced melodies, vocal hooks and layered percussion that expand the overall palette.
Designed with the dancefloor in mind, ‘The Circus In Town Vol. 2’ delivers a collection of tracks that prioritise movement and character. It’s a release that reflects Ursul Records’ growing presence, offering a snapshot of a label continuing to define its sound within the contemporary house landscape.
