Argentinian DJ and producer Sergio Saffe makes his return to Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite this month with his latest project, the three-track ‘The Last Time’ EP. The release lands on 31st October and finds him in confident form, balancing rolling grooves, hypnotic rhythms and clean, functional production.
Each track captures what Saffe does best: sharp percussion, chunky basslines and clever vocal details that give his music character without overcomplicating the flow. The result is a record that feels effortless but designed for DJs who understand the energy of a proper club floor. Grab your copy here.
Saffe has spent years shaping his sound across some of the most respected labels in the scene, including MÜSE, DOSMUNDOS, Deeperfect and elrow Music. His Beatport-topping single via Santos Music proved his ability to deliver cuts that connect globally, while maintaining the underground pulse that defines his output.
Opening the release, ‘The Last Time’ blends electro-inspired textures with a powerful bassline and soft, alluring vocals. It’s a track that builds tension slowly, creating impact through precision rather than volume. ‘Dance’ then flips the energy, driven by punchy kicks and skippy drum programming that keeps things moving fast and fluid. Closing the EP, ‘Get It Now’ takes a stripped-down route, letting the percussion breathe and the groove take control.
‘The Last Time’ shows a producer comfortable in his lane, refining his craft and exploring how far groove and rhythm can go when handled with intent. It’s simple, strong and ready for the right system.
