In the last few years, Gianni Romano, a celebrated Italian DJ and producer, has been rising fast across the Deep-Afro-Latin house scene. His unique sound has garnered him support from the world’s A-List DJs, including Diplo, Black Coffee, David Guetta, Themba and many more, as well as airplay on BBC Radio 1 and radio stations across the world.
Summer 2023 saw Gianni take his SWITCH brand to Ibiza for a 20-week residency at the legendary Blue Marlin. Guests included Reznik (Keinemusik), Caiiro, Enoo Napa, Moojo, Robin M, Maz, Francis Mercier and many more.
The Switch founder’s collaborations with Emanuele Esposito have spawned several successful club records, including “La Manguelena”, “Nene Man Ni”, “Ay Como Haga”, and their monumental platinum-certified “It’s Not Right”.
Gianni reunites with his long-term friend Emanuele for their latest EP, ‘Sqnizz’. The EP includes collaborations with Helen Tesfazghi, Aura, Trick Beat, Thief Ndlaye, and Jamila. SQNIZZ is a testament to the power of partnership in creating rich musical worlds and compelling narratives influenced by Afro and Latin sounds.
