Number 90 Continue to Rejuvenate Their East London Multi-space Venues and Reveal 6am License

Empty dance floor with wood paneling, black walls, and ceiling speakers. Blue lighting and a red screen create a moody atmosphere.
Number 90

The team behind Number 90, one of London’s bedrock clubbing spots have spent the past year tirelessly refining and upgrading the canal side venue, tweaking, modifying, and reimagining the space to take it from strength to strength.

Following the recent announcement of Number 90 Hideout, reimagined into an audiophile’s dream, the team now reveal details of the adjacent space as well as a 6am licence on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Spanning all the Number 90 sites, this late licence is the only one of its kind in Hackney.

Fka Number 90 Live, the new venue is called Number 90 Lock and now boasts a world-class sound system powered by D&B Audiotechnik and Martin Audio, delivering crystal-clear highs and bone-shaking lows with unrivalled precision. Similar to Number 90 Hideout, the room itself has been meticulously engineered for acoustic perfection: timber-framed walls with custom ceiling panels and bass traps in every corner ensure the music hits exactly as it should. Underfoot, a brand-new wooden floor floats on a bed of rubber, amplifying both comfort and impact. Completing the transformation is a fully bespoke visual production, immersive LED design, strobes, and large-scale projection creating an atmosphere where sound and light collide in pure synergy.

Empty dimly-lit venue with wooden floor, black columns, a bar on the right, and a stage with blue lights in the background. Quiet ambiance.

True to form, Number 90 Lock ushers in a new era with a launch event on Thursday 2nd October, 7–11pm. On the controls: Josh Tweek of The Ghost, Toby one half of cheeky chappies Hamish & Toby, as well as trusted resident Just Jam b2b with Lucy B, with one very special guest still under wraps.

The first big date to follow is 4th October, when long-time party brand Half Baked welcomes back Polish enigma Margaret Dygas for a night of truly transformative music. Later in the year, the impressive lineups continue to roll out with Juan Atkins, Egyptian Lover, Gideön, Sansibar, Josey Rebelle, and many more still to come.
