Ky William drops two contagious club weapons on TSHA’s Jackfruit label.

Jackfruit, the brainchild of MOBO-winning DJ and producer TSHA, has evolved into a genre-blurring tour deforce–spanning a radio show, party series, and a newly minted record label. Following a standout debut release from the label boss herself, Jackfruit taps Brooklyn talent Ky William for its sophomore release, ‘Funkay / The Gift’, landing October 17.

Title cut 'Funkay' kicks off with old-school hip-house energy and pounding drums. Slick bars deliver no-nonsense attitude over grinding chords and prickly percussion, while neon pads and retro stabs amp up the energy of this peak-time cut. On the flip, 'The Gift' , a collab with California trailblazer Nate Katz, dives into deeper house territory. Built around massive kicks, cosmic pads, and wiggling acid lines rising through scattered toms– it's muscular yet warm, full-bodied, and nuanced enough to move heads as much as heels.
