Originally landing in 2022, Kraak & Smaak’s ‘Corsica ’80’ returns for summer 2025 with two sharp new remixes on Dafia. The much in demand Swedish producer OPOLOPO, twists the original into a cosmic disco workout loaded with a cute synth topline, sumptuous squelchy synths, fluttering flute stabs, classy beats and rubbery basslines that dial up the funk with playful precision. Dafia Records boss Mannix takes a more sun-drenched approach, retaining the original’s off-kilter hook while layering in lovely strings, retro keys to deliver a gorgeous poolside perfect Balearic groove.

With a new album due this autumn, Kraak & Smaak (aka Oscar de Jong, Wim Plug and Mark Kneppers), boast an impressive performance and studio career that has seen them consistently create refreshing records and outstanding DJ and live moments during global touring across Europe, USA, Asia, Australia and beyond. They continue to push their genre-fluid sound, blending disco, funk, soul and electronica across their Boogie Angst label, and also boat a remix history that includes everyone from Aretha Franklin to Royksopp.
