Kahnti Makes Her Album Debut With ‘One Love’

Kahnti’s debut album, ‘One Love’, lands as a fully formed statement from an artist who has steadily built momentum across the Afro, deep, and soulful house spectrum. Philadelphia-born and Dallas-based, the producer, DJ, and vocalist has carved out a space rooted in percussion-driven grooves, atmospheric melodies, and her distinctive spoken and sung vocal textures. She has graced stages across the U.S., U.K., and Cuba, including SoulCamp alongside DJ Spen, Mi Casa Holiday, Havana’s International Jazz Festival, Houston House Music Spring Affair, and London’s BBE, whilst her unquantize singles ‘My Boo Thang,’ ‘Energy,’ and ‘Mirage’ are already favourites with the dancers.

The album opens with its title track setting the tone through warm afrocentric rhythms and a sense of communal uplift. From there, Kahnti moves into deeper spiritual territory with “Free’Dom” and “Spiritual Boogie,” tracks that lean into rolling percussion and meditative vocal layers. “UBA” and “Mirage” shift the mood into duskier, more introspective territory, showcasing her ability to balance emotional nuance with club functionality. Her single release, “My Boo Thang,” is reimagined here as Kahnti delivers a collaborative remix with DJ Spen, while “Just Dance (And Do It)” anchors the record in classic deep-house form - clean, driving, and built for movement. Her popular single, “Energy,” comes paired with a bumping Geoffrey C remix, which injects a sharper, more kinetic edge and reinforces the album’s dance-floor backbone.

Kahnti describes ‘One Love’ as an exploration of rhythm’s healing force - music designed to elevate and connect. That intention is woven through every track, from the tactile percussion to the spiritual undertones running beneath her grooves and vocals. The result is a cohesive debut that positions Kahnti as a compelling voice in the modern Afro & Deep house landscapes.
