James Priestley takes the helm for Secretsundaze, launches new label 9FINITY, and announces London launch party

The legendary Secretsundaze, now led solely by James Priestley, is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in 2024. He has taken the project into a more focussed club-leaning lane, reflecting his vision through fresh solo productions under the Secretsundaze moniker. 

As well as this Secretsundaze marks a new chapter in the institution’s storied history with the foundation of the new imprint 9FINITY. The label aims to run with this descriptor through no-nonsense, discerning dance records from artists at the vanguard of modern club music. 

Making a statement with its maiden release, is a vinyl only V/A compiled with the considered curation synonymous with the Secretsundaze name. 9FINITY001 brings together the talents of Eoin DJ, DJ Life, Luca Attanasio, Coffintexts and E-Talking across 5 tracks and digital bonus that act as a distillation of the label’s sonic vision. The debut release, 9FINITY001, is set to drop on September 19th.

There has been massive DJ support on this one so far from the likes of Young Marco, Paramida, Ben UFO, Bashkka, Byron Yeates, Courtesy, Sedef Adasi, Jennifer Cardini, Hannah Holland, Fantastic Man, Moxie and loads more. 

In celebration of this milestone and in true Secretsundaze style is the announcement of the 9FINITY launch party at London’s iconic Pickle Factory on September 28th. The event welcomes E-Talking and club favorite Lora Mipsum to the pickle spaceship, alongside Secretsundaze for a night of heads down, hands up dance music.

Further expanding the label's vision, 9FINITY presents ‘A Beyond Mix’ which will also debut, with the first mix crafted by none other than label boss Secretsundaze. The series will feature regular contributions from label artists and the extended 9FINITY friends and family.
