Ilya Santana, Dave Allison, Christian Webb and Mural drop a quartet of sleazy remixes for Xanimal.

New Human Music present their next chapter with "Love Axis" the latest from XANIMAL - a project intent on fusing a throwback nostalgia with sonics reminiscent of the golden age of music and film. Anchored by the incredible vocal of the original mix "Love Axis" delivers a collection of remixes that reinterpret the vibrant, synth-driven core in various directions. Imagine an iconic voice drifting through a studio session, layered over a bed of shimmering synths and thumping basslines—a sonic experience where aesthetics collide and morph effortlessly throughout.

The original mix of "Love Axis" captures XANIMAL's vision, crafting a statement through its lyrics, a fleeting yet profound moment of connection. The story unfolds against a classic 80s-inspired backdrop that is deeply rooted in the artists' shared experiences growing up in that decade. Each remix on the release adds a unique perspective: Christian Webb's version pushes the track into deeper, more bass groove heavy territory, while Dave Allison offers a groove-infused reinterpretation that brings a tight, percussive twist. Ilya Santana's remix amplifies the cosmic Italo elements, transforming "Love Axis" into a space-disco journey, and Mural's take provides a rhythmic, tribal edge, rounding out the collection with a more dancefloor-driven vision.

"Love Axis" is a homage and contemporary re-imagining that breathes life into the spirit of New Wave and Synth-pop. Capturing the essence of a Golden age era and transporting it to the present day. Fans of artists who blur the lines, such as Chromatics and LCD Soundsystem, will find a new favourite in XANIMAL’s eclectic yet cohesive sound.

With the original releasing this October 9th, the remixes following on October 23rd.
