Ilona Maras releases a fiery techno EP, “Stop Turn”

Clif Jack's record label, MJA the Vision, welcomes the return of Ilona Maras, who delivers a three-track techno EP.

Ilona Maras is fresh from her recent EP on The YellowHeads' Reload Black, adding to her impressive run of releases in 2025, which also includes other imprints such as Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave and Victor Ruiz's VOLTA.

This EP is another trademark release by Ilona Maras, who blends timeless techno elements with modern sound design to create dynamic tracks that ooze dance floor appeal.

Living in Switzerland, Ilona Maras is a resident DJ at the world-famous Hive Club in Zurich, but she is also a headline artist playing regular international shows.

The title track, "Stop Turn" has a juddering bassline underscoring acid pulses and euphoric vocal chants, before the hypnotic vocal hook takes control.

Next up, "Rovo" is an industrial track with raw percussion and a swelling bassline intertwined with buzzing synth tones and urban vocals.

"Concentrate" closes the release with the ominous tones of the namesake vocal layered over gritty percussion and flickers of bass.
