Green George Unveils Atmospheric Two-Track EP on Déepalma — Out Now

Australian producer and DJ Green George makes a welcome return to Déepalma Records with a deeply expressive two-track EP, now available worldwide. Balancing late-night intensity with reflective moods, the release pairs standout solo cut ‘Power Over Me’ with a collaborative effort alongside Timothy Nelson titled ‘Up For Air’.

Following acclaimed outings on The Purr, Café De Anatolia, Wired, and previous Déepalma EPs For You / Gathie and Ofana Nawe / See You, Green George has become a name synonymous with emotional, groove-led house. Beyond the studio, his credentials include appearances at Claptone’s The Masquerade, Elrow, and Carl Cox Presents PURE, sharing the stage with icons such as Carl Cox, CamelPhat, and Hot Since 82.

Opening the release, ‘Power Over Me’ delivers a propulsive yet soulful ride—marked by commanding male vocals, soaring female adlibs, lush piano motifs, and glistening synth arpeggios. It’s a track built for peak-time moments while retaining an intimate, emotive core.

By contrast, ‘Up For Air’ offers a more stripped-back, atmospheric journey. Featuring multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Timothy Nelson, the track leans into meditative grooves and rich textures, with Nelson’s melodic touch guiding the arrangement into more introspective territory.
