Eric Redd Breathes New Life Into Disco Classic ‘Bon Bon Vie’

US soul vocalist, Billboard Chart topper and stage performer Eric Redd returns with a lively new single, delivering a fresh spin on TS Monk’s 1980 disco-soul staple ‘Bon Bon Vie (Gimme The Good Life)’. Eric Redd was discovered by Jive Records and his music portfolio includes Billboard Chart club hits, ‘Breathe’ (2010), ‘Right Time’ (2017), ‘Push’ (2019), and artist Grammy shortlisted albums, ‘Tears Don’t Cry’ (2022) and ‘Life….with Subtitles’ (2023). As a performer, he’s opened for Stevie Wonder, KD Lang, Coolio and many more.

'Bon Bon Vie (Gimme The Good Life)’ is the second outing on his newly launched label, Electronic Soul Records, following a great first release earlier this year with ‘Where There’s Life’. Produced by US chart regular David Anthony, the track updates TS Monk’s unmistakable groove with a warm and snazzy production. Eric’s playful vocal brings soul, fun and loads of feel-good energy, reimagining the track for a whole new generation, while honouring its roots in classic soul and disco.
