Dennis Cruz launches new label and event series BotaniQ with debut EP, ‘Way Back’

Released on 9th May 2025, the ‘Way Back’ EP offers a taste of what’s to come from the Spanish heavyweight’s new creative platform. Both tracks carry Dennis’ signature groove-led style – deep, rolling, and built for late nights and long sets. A slick debut that sets the tone for the journey ahead.

BotaniQ isn’t just another label. It’s a wider vision – one rooted in Cruz’s connection with nature and his love for diverse sounds. More than music, it’s about creating spaces that bring people and energy together, with carefully chosen settings playing a key role.

Speaking on the launch, Cruz says:

‘BotaniQ is an idea that has no boundaries – I can showcase all the styles I make, enjoy and play without being restricted to genres. The events will focus on music and people – no distractions.’

The first BotaniQ event lands at Lofi Courtyard in Amsterdam on 29th May 2025. Expect a stripped-back, music-first experience with a lineup that reflects the ethos of the label.

It’s already been a big year for Cruz – returning to Coachella, smashing Miami Music Week, and playing sold-out GOLFOS shows with longtime collaborator PAWSA. The launch of BotaniQ is a natural step forward, giving him a space to shape and share his sound without compromise.

More releases are coming, with Dennis curating music from friends, collaborators, and fresh talent aligned with the BotaniQ sound.
