CHANEY returns to Toolroom with a gospel-soaked house heater, ‘Prayer’

Updated: 1 day ago

After last year’s standout release with Candi Staton on Lose My Number’, CHANEY is back on Toolroom Records with Prayer’, a rousing, gospel-charged house banger, that blends retro soul with modern club muscle. Anchored by a FAT bassline and crisp percussion, CHANEY's use of the preacher-style vocal flips this into something playful, bold, and ready to lift the roof this summer season.

Since breaking through via Skint in 2019, CHANEY’s built a catalog that flexes real range, from dancefloor weapons like Blank Space’ and Love Again’, to high-profile releases across Edible, D4 D4NCE, Insomniac, Armada, Stress, and his own Chaned To The Rhythm imprint. His fingerprints are all over the scene, with production credits for Kaskade, Dombresky, Feed Me, and Oliver Nelson, and remixes for heavyweights like David Guetta, Joel Corry, and 220 Kid. Now firmly one of the UK’s most consistent dance producers, CHANEY brings an infectious raw energy and polish to everything he touches and ‘Prayer’ is certainly no exception!
