Kosheen’s era-defining single Catch returns for its 25th anniversary with a striking new remix from Bella Kri and Adamon, released on Moksha Recordings. The real-life DJ duo brings a cinematic, melodic, progressive house twist to the early 2000s anthem, a version that has already generated more than nine million streams across YouTube and TikTok ahead of its official release.
Initially released in 2001, Catch was a standout moment on Kosheen’s platinum-certified debut album Resist. The single reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart and resonated with audiences across Europe and Australia. Its distinctive mix of breakbeat, electro, and alt-pop, paired with Sian Evans’ emotive vocal delivery, made it one of the most recognisable tracks of the decade and a favourite among fans of both underground and mainstream electronic music.
Catch: 2025 Reload – Remix Pt. 1 brings together five new interpretations, all breathing fresh life into the track while respecting its core identity. Bella Kri and Adamon lead the release with both a Short Edit and Long Edit of their reimagining, layering atmospheric builds with driving low-end and melodic textures. They are joined by Turkish producer Ersin Avci, who delivers a progressive trance house take, Vagabond, with a rhythmic fusion of house, trance, and electro. Brosso provides a dark-edged tech house version, and Fanis Stam offers a soulful deep house interpretation.
DJ support for the release is already strong, with positive feedback from Davey Asprey, Tocadisco, Tom Novy, Christian Nash, Samuele Scelfo, and NeeVald.
This anniversary project is more than a nod to nostalgia. It stands as a testament to the lasting appeal of Kosheen’s work, while showcasing the creativity of a new wave of producers shaping today’s electronic music landscape.
