Venetian producer ATLAC makes his first appearance on Desolat with the ‘Handclap’ EP, landing on 27th February 2026. The release marks a new step for the Italian newcomer as he joins the roster of Loco Dice’s long-running imprint. ATLAC has built steady traction across the European circuit, earning support from names including Joseph Capriati, Cloonee, Dennis Cruz and Wade. Previous outings on labels such as MUSE and Criterio Music positioned him within the current wave of groove-led, floor-focused producers emerging from Italy and Spain.

The ‘Handclap’ EP keeps that focus tight across two cuts. The title track runs on clipped hi-hats, a rolling bassline and swung percussion, with vocal hooks threaded through its core structure. The arrangement leans on rhythmic tension rather than breakdown-heavy theatrics, aimed squarely at late-night sets.

On the flip, ‘Smokin On’ drives into heavier territory. A weighty low-end anchors the track while warped vocal snippets and a steady build shape its peak-time intent. The drop lands without excess, keeping momentum front and centre.

With this Desolat debut, ATLAC steps into 2026 aligned with one of the scene’s established imprints, reinforcing his presence within the contemporary house and tech house circuit.
