Another summer scorcher incoming as Love to be… returns to The Yard

UK house music institution Love to be… makes a triumphant return to The Yard on Saturday 9th August with a second high-impact summer session. From afternoon sun in the open-air courtyard headlined by Chicago house legend Marshall Jefferson, to a high energy workout of disco and house by French star The Reflex over in room two hosted by Manchester’s EDIT, this Day to Night takeover brings another stacked lineup and high-quality production throughout, making it a true celebration of house and disco culture. Tickets are now on sale from £25+bf via Skiddle.

Following a sell out May Bank Holiday event that welcomed Roger Sanchez and John Morales, the Love to be… crew are ready to do it again. Headlining the open-air Back Yard stage is none other than Marshall Jefferson, the Chicago house pioneer whose influence on dance music is legendary. He’s joined by rising star Capri, whose collab with Low Steppa, Got the Funk, is currently setting the global scene alight. Also expect deep grooves and pure energy from a supporting cast including Trimtone aka Love to be founder Tony Walker and Marc Dennis, Stuart Pilling, Sinclair, Keexx, and Nicola Bear.

Inside The Yard’s unique multi-use space, EDIT once again transforms Room 2 into a disco and funk haven. The revered The Reflex headlines, serving up inspired re-edits and crate-dug treasures, with support from Supernature Disco, Jaegerossa, Grant Holmes, Clara B, and Tobie C.

The Yard, nestled in Manchester’s creative quarter, offers the perfect industrial-luxe playground for this one-day blowout, from blue skies to moonlight.

Love to be… has stood at the helm of the UK house scene since 1994, evolving from its Sheffield roots into a globe-trotting brand with an international festival, radio show, and record label. Renowned for its high-spec parties and timeless lineups, the brand continues to blend house royalty with the freshest talent in the game.

With enhanced production, food traders throughout the day, immersive sound and visuals, and a crowd of true music heads, Love to be’s summer return promises pure dance floor euphoria from start to finish.
