Amsterdam Dance Event Completes Landmark 30th Anniversary Programme With 3,600+ Artists

Amsterdam Dance Event has completed the programme for its landmark 30th anniversary edition, with more than 3,600 artists set to appear across over 1,300 events from 21st to 25th October.
Taking place at more than 300 venues throughout Amsterdam, ADE 2026 will span its Festival, Pro Conference and Arts & Culture programmes, using the anniversary to look back across three decades of electronic music while placing equal emphasis on where its culture and industry are heading next.
The final artist additions underline the scale of the programme. Armand Van Helden, Boys Noize, Dax J, DJ Tennis, Djrum, Gerd Janson, GiGi FM, Hannah Laing, Jamie Jones, Len Faki, Mama Snake, Martin Garrix, Mau P, Pete Tong, SHERELLE, Speedy J and Surusinghe are among those joining an extensive city-wide bill.
ADE Pro has also completed its conference programme. Armin van Buuren will join Jean-Michel Jarre, Lady Starlight and JakoJako for ‘Music & Machines: A Conversation Between Artists from Different Generations’, while Afrojack, Mau P, Octo Octa, DVS1, Max Cooper, HoneyLuv, Sofiya Nzau, Joseph Capriati and Reinier Zonneveld are among its latest additions.
Industry-focused sessions from Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube Music sit alongside contributions from NVIDIA, Helix Records, Believe, Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal and Armada. Elsewhere, Eris Drew, Alice O’Grady and Club RAUM’s Sven Bijma will explore the continued importance of physical club spaces during ‘Why Humans Still Need Dancefloors?’.

The anniversary itself is threaded through the 30 YEARS ADE Icon Series, comprising 30 events reflecting on electronic music’s past, present and future. Jean-Michel Jarre joins the event as Guest of Honour, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of ‘Oxygene’, which he will mark at AFAS Live alongside an ADE Pro keynote and further appearances.
The series also stretches well beyond conventional club settings. Boris Acket’s ‘EINDER’ installation will feature performances from the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Elias Mazian, while ‘Swan Lake Remixed for ADE’ brings Dutch National Ballet and ISH Dance Collective together at the Gashouder.
ADE Arts & Culture will extend that approach into museums, churches and cultural spaces across Amsterdam, including projects at Wereldmuseum Amsterdam, Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder and Fabrique des Lumières.
Thirty years after beginning with 300 professional delegates and three nighttime venues in 1996, ADE’s 2026 edition offers a considerably larger snapshot of electronic music culture, bringing its artists, clubs, institutions and industry together across Amsterdam for five days.
Amsterdam Dance Event takes place from 21st to 25th October 2026.
