Alkimia step forward with ‘Horse Riders’, a new single that twists classic house foundations through an unexpected country-leaning lens. Groovy, playful and built for movement, the track balances character with club-ready energy.

‘Horse Riders’ opens with a warm sense of swing, where subtle country-inspired textures sit comfortably alongside rolling house rhythms. As the arrangement develops, a powerful bassline takes control, driving the track toward a confident, dancefloor-focused drop. The contrast between organic flavour and club pressure gives the record its identity, playful without losing impact.

The release reflects Alkimia’s open-minded approach to house music. Rather than locking into a single sound, the trio enjoy testing and blending influences, allowing groove to act as the common thread. That flexibility gives ‘Horse Riders’ a sense of fun and accessibility, while still delivering the weight needed for club play.

Formed at the end of 2023, Alkimia is a DJ and producer crew from northern Italy, near Venice, made up of Francesco Prontera, Leonardo Dalla Paola and Michele Porceddu, who also go by ALOV, LDP and KEEM, respectively. Since launching as independent artists, they have focused on building momentum through self-released music and local support.

Their first EP, ‘EP A’, showcased that range, moving between high-energy cuts like ‘Boye’ and more restrained, reflective moments such as ‘Mantra’. ‘Horse Riders’ continues that journey, but with a clearer eye on the dancefloor and community building.

Support from local DJs and producers has helped the track gain early traction, aligning with the crew’s wider aim of expanding their network and growing the house party format they regularly bring to cities across Italy.

With new music already in progress and plans underway for 2026 events in Italy and across Europe, ‘Horse Riders’ feels like a confident step forward. It captures Alkimia’s willingness to experiment while staying grounded in groove, bass and the shared energy of the dancefloor.
