In contrast, revenues from generative AI services are set to explode, growing from £3 billion today to an eye-watering £64 billion in just four years. Altogether, this represents an estimated €22 billion loss for creators—€10 billion in music and €12 billion in audiovisual production—against the backdrop of a booming generative AI market. "For creators of all kinds, from songwriters to film directors, AI has the potential to open up exciting new opportunities," said CISAC President Björn Ulvaeus.
